The best time for gorilla trekking is during the dry seasons from June to September and December to February. However, treks are available year-round, and each season offers its unique experience. The rainy seasons can make trails more challenging but often offer better photography opportunities.

Gorilla trekking requires moderate fitness as treks can last from 2 to 8 hours depending on the gorillas' location. The terrain can be steep and sometimes muddy. We recommend basic hiking preparation and comfortable hiking boots. Our guides will ensure the pace is manageable for the group.
